NBA KAPPA LEAGUERS ATTEND NORTHEASTERN PROVINCE KL CONFERENCE
On Saturday, February 22nd, the young men of the New Brunswick Alumni Kappa League joined over 300 of their brethren for the Northeastern Province Kappa League Conference at Westchester Community College in Valhalla, NY. The conference, hosted by the New Rochelle-White Plains Alumni Chapter, brought together young men and mentors from Boston to Delaware to the purpose of leadership training and personal development. The conference included seminars on entrepreneurship, mental health, financial literacy and how to navigate police interaction. The keynote speaker was Billionaire entrepreneur and Kappa Brother, Michael V. Roberts JD. He is the author of Action has No Season and Action Has No Season 2.0. He stressed the importance of education, technology and process of attaining wealth. He shared his story from a child of East St. Louis to a man of power, wealth and influence. He delivered a powerful message. This was the largest Kappa League conference in the history of the Northeastern Province.
