NBA KAPPA LEAGUERS ASSIST CENTRAl JERSEY DELTAS AT X-MAS GAla
On Saturday, December 14th, the NBA Kappa Leaguers participated in the Central Jersey Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc's annual Christmas Party. The Deltas support local group homes to provide a spectacular holiday festival for the kids who live their. NBA Kappa League was requested to volunteer and assist with the festivities. The young men participated in a social action performance and assisted the children who received literally a tower of gifts. Gifts included everything from dolls and video games to bikes and Uggz boots. Anytime our young men have an opportunity to serve others it is special. In addition to the gifts, there was a surprise performance by R&B singer, Monifah. She sang Christmas songs and had children join her on stage to sing their favorite songs. There was face painting as well as loads of candy that the children could make good bags for themselves. We were honored to be chosen for this event and look forward to participating again next year.
